Beaten in the Wentworth Stakes (Listed) at Doncaster, but I still think he has more to come. Runs well at this distance and the trainer is in good form. Likes the all-weather and can get close.

Rogue Lightning has had a break since the Group 1 July Cup Stakes at Newmarket, but he had a similar break before winning a Group 3 race in Doha in February, so he should not be written off. His only previous all-weather run was at Kempton as a 2-year-old in a Group 3.

Habooba is a 3-year-old filly trained by T. Kent, and she lines up here off an official mark of 90 with Luke Morris taking the ride. An obvious outsider here given the odds but im going to excuse the recent runs on turf and look back at her runs on AW where she’s been holding her form well, and her latest effort at Wolverhampton was better than the finishing position suggests ??' she travelled nicely for much of the race before running into a bit of trouble when things started to quicken. Southwell’s Tapeta should play more to her strengths, as she tends to build into her races and stay on well when given a clear run. Morris is an excellent booking here and is known for giving these handy-racing fillies a positive ride around this track.
