National Question got his second hurdle win in October off a mark of 73 at Newcastle and followed that with a decent second here at Sedgefield in November off 77. He was not disgraced last time when fifth of 11, not beaten far at Musselburgh off 80. He retains that mark and goes up in distance to two and a half miles. As he finished his last three races well, that should suit him and he has a good chance of another win with Joshua Thompson taking off seven pounds.

Looked one to follow when beating a subsequent winner at Southwell, but was too far back when fifth at Rasen next time out, where it turned into a dash. Got plenty going for him reverting to a class 5 and I imagine there will be a good pace to aim at with Kaviar Wood in there. 6/1 tops.
