The form of his race at Down Royal back in April would give him chances in this if reproducing that, though his last time out effort at Perth wasn't too bad, holding place claims until weakening late on. Possibly a drop in trip would suit more, but he shouldn't have too much issue around this sharp track.

Fell the last time at Sedgefield but has a good record here over hurdles with a win and a place in two starts. Could be good on a return here.

Proven to be effective over 20F and enjoys Sedgefield - respective 3rd, 3rd, and 2nd here in 2025. Not great last time out at Cartmel but back off a break and looking to bounce back.

Our Laura B was off 399 days before sweating up and being pulled up last time. She was entitled to need that outing and is now dropped in class and dropped in trip. Both wins have come at this trip on good and heavy. Form at this course is 2444. Not often is she beaten far here, and if back on song, she has very good claims in this.

Cross Of Redmoor has hinted at some ability in point-to-points and latterly against a couple of useful sorts when qualifying for a handicap mark time at Cartmel. One suspects he was never fully fit on those occasions and today gets a featherweight burden and takes a drop in class and a step up in distance. The fitting of a tongue strap might help too. At 40/1, we may see some improvement today in a field where the favourite takes up nearly 40 percent of the market.
