Indian River is the only four-year-old in the field. He has won his two starts over hurdles, showing plenty of fight at both Catterick in November and Wetherby last month. He looks to be fairly handicapped and appears to have a great chance of bringing up the hat-trick.

Inca Prince is trading at over 7.0 on the exchange at the time of writing. Given that price the horse simply looks to have a bit of value and therefore cannot be ignored. Each way looks the best play.

Chase A Fortune is rising in the weights, but that is down to his improved form in his latest two starts. In five visits to Sedgefield, the horse has placed second on four occasions. Best over today's distance on a soft surface, he can go well again.

Celestial Reign, this horse won well in May 2025 at today's course, Sedgefield. But, I was more impressed with his 2nd, the start after his win. He came there looking the winner, until one horse came up the inside to beat him by a short head. The horse who finished 3rd that day, is currently rated 115, and i do think he is better than that horse, as he was on that day. He had a couple spins on the flat after that 2nd, due to his speed he shows after jumping the hurdles, i guess. I can't look past this horse today, especially with a 7lb claimer on aboard aswell, Joshua Thompson. If improving today, with a trip that will suit him nicely, he should be knocking on the door today. Should be shorter in the market.

Consistent performer who won three times over hurdles last year. Not seen since June but returns carrying the top weight. Each-way chance if finding best form on return.
