Now returns to probably her favourite track, a track she has won at 3 times previously, including on heavy ground, and is on a mark that she won from last year. NAP BET.

Monsieur Kodi (GB) is a 6-year-old bay gelding by Kodiac, trained by Richard A. Fahey, and carries the colours of Middleham Park Racing XVI. He ran to a rating line of 75 in his recent outings, including wining at Hamilton in July, and only narrowly missed in a competitive handicap at Southwell over around 6f last time out. Monsieur Kodi has always given his running in softer ground??'something that’s hinted at in his win profile and form lines??'which ought to put him in ideal territory here, as the course is expected to be soft-good to soft. He typically hops out sharp, gets into a forward position, and then tries to sustain pace over the closing stages??'his stamina and tenacity over 6f proven on several occasions. While others in the race may hold more recent horses in privilege, his class, experience, and preference for cut in the ground speak volumes. Hes won off 83 and placed off 85 so the current mark looking tasty.

Looks like an open-looking race, which can hopefully see this one going well at decent odds. Now dropping back considerably in grade after finishing last of 10 to 'Cloud Cover' at Chelmsford (7f) on the AW in a listed event back in July. But this looks a lot less competitive, and the booking of jockey Rossa Ryan catches the eye.

Yet to win for Jamie O'Brien, who books Billy Whizz. A gesture of intent perhaps, with Saffie riding at Doncaster. Wodao won a race for Donnacha O'Brien an age ago over 5f at Tipperary but has yet to taste success for Jamie. Dropping in the weights and getting ground which should be to its liking, has an excellent chance to go one better at Salisbury, a track that from known information should suit.

In red hot form at the moment. Willing to put a line through her last run as she got upset in the stalls. Has won on soft ground previously so the ground shouldn't be an issue.

Interesting race with a few top contenders but a pretty even field. Has had some good runs in heavy and good to soft conditions and could be well suited here.
