Handicap debut off what I think is a lenient mark. Has run some good races over 7f, so starting life in a Class 6 with Jason Hart back on should mean we're in business.

Looks interesting today at 16/1 with 4 places on offer. Her recent form looks poor, but she has a few angles that make her interesting at the price. She won at Redcar last season on similar ground and is now back to 7f, which looks more suitable than the mile she tried last time. That run can be forgiven a bit as they went hard and she faded late. Her mark is also workable again, with her last win coming off 65 and today she runs off 63. A low draw helps today too. She needs to bounce back, but at 16/1 this looks a fair each-way play.

At 18/1, she has a decent chance of finishing in the places as she is dropping to a favourable weight. Significantly, her stable is fitting her with a first-time visor, with the usual jockey Joanne Mason riding, which could lead to the improvement needed in this Class 6 handicap.

The Phillip McBride yard is going along nicely and he has two here today, with both looking unlikely. But I'll have an each-way on his Sweet Echo, which tries 7f in its first handicap, with what statistically looks like the plum draw.
