Remmooz has been progressing through the handicap ranks, but his form is several levels below what Spy Chief has shown this season, having finished 2nd in the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot (Remmooz 3.75L back in 4th). He followed that up by finishing 2.75L 7th in the Group 1 July Cup, having done the donkey work on his side, and then 6th over C&D in the Hungerford last time. That form looks plenty strong, with the 3rd and 5th both winning since, the 4th filling the same spot in the Group 1 sprint at Haydock, and the 9th finishing 2nd in a 7f Group 2 at Doncaster - the rest unraced since. There's an argument 6f might be Spy Chief's best trip, but equally, others look proper milers, and I suspect his class could see him win this. Unraced on softer than good to firm, but by Kingman, I don't have major concerns about her going, which will likely be on the softer side of good.
