Bellarchi may have found a good opportunity to get back to winning ways, returning to a track she clearly thrives at. Last time out she finished 9th in a strong Class 2 handicap over 7½f, beaten 3½ lengths off 91 in a competitive 0-105 contest, where a wide draw will not have helped at all. Prior to that she had won twice at Musselburgh Racecourse, continuing an excellent record at the venue. The first success came in a Class 2 handicap over 7f on good-to-soft ground when winning by ½ length off 84, beating the now 102-rated Golden Mind. She then followed up in a Class 4 Fillies’ handicap over 1m by another ½ length off 87. Her overall course record now reads 11811, with the only poor effort coming on soft ground, conditions that appear less suitable for her. Returning to a sounder surface at Musselburgh looks ideal. She remains on a mark of 91 but now drops into a Class 3 handicap (0-90), which should make life easier compared to the races she has been contesting recently. With proven course form and conditions likely to suit, Bellarchi looks to hold strong claims.

Hasn't won for over a year but had been running fairly consistently during the winter before well beaten back on turf at Haydock earlier this month. Needs to bounce back but he's on a dangerous mark if able to do so.
