I thought it was an encouraging effort a few days ago up at 10 furlongs, in which she made the running and, although passed by two, did not collapse with the pace and held the rest of the field. The sectionals suggest that the last third of the race was the most impressive. This, allied to the sire's record over longer trips, suggests this further increase of two furlongs is the best idea. This is a first drop into a Class 6, and there is no other obvious pace here at a C&D, which suits front-runners. I wouldn't take any less than the 6s currently on offer, though.
