7:30 Kempton Tips

Looks a buzzy type for this yard, and the fact that they've gelded him is a real benefit. Has the page to run well, just needs to find a way to settle better. Looks an easier assignment and not drawn out of it.

Kit Gabriel, a 6-year-old bay gelding. 30-8-25. Beverley. Led for a long way in this race but was passed by the rest of the field, but not beaten all that far. Has been rated as high as 83 but was running off just 70 here. Will come down again. Two of his three wins have been on the Wolverhampton all-weather. Each way bet.

I am not sure if this is the right move, but I cannot get past the odds and current form. If it can take to today's conditions and pace, then maybe a place at least.

No show on turf @ Newmarket on prior run, but good one back on a Aw surface @ Lingfield Lto. Down 1lb here in same grade of race, is a C,D winner, good jockey retains ride and in hands of an upcoming trainer, making current 7/1 solid Ew value in the race.

The Ed A L Dunlop-trained Havana Sky won at Wolverhampton over 6f on his latest outing last month, beating Sovereign Knight by a neck. The 4-year-old Havana Gold gelding has won seven races, including six wins on the all-weather. He is top weight for this Class 5 handicap on 9-10, but he did win a Class 6 off 9-13. Each-way chance.

He's got decent form over the AW. He usually travels on the bridle, close to the pace, which are traits that suit the Polytrack here. He looks back to form recently. Chance to get in the frame if he has a good run.

TOKEN GESTURE had some near misses over this trip a couple of times in August, including one race where he finished second. Drops to a lower mark for this return and the wide draw shouldn't be an issue for a hold up type. Hopefully he gets the gap towards the end and makes it count. Won a race here on this card last year, and could get involved.
