Baron Noir has won 3 of his 7 starts, with two wins coming in bumpers before he was successful in just his second start over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month. He won comfortably there and looks to have a great chance of following up.

Swingin Safari returned from a break hurdling in November after wind surgery and fell at the last when disputing the lead. He did win a C4 when second up, and I think there could be more to come today in a C3 while still with Harry Cobden in the saddle.

Kocktail Bleu has come up against some very decent horses in his last four starts and made the first three in all but his last run. The form when winning and being placed has been well franked, and after a below-par run last time on very soft, sticky ground he cannot be written off. The well-thought-of 6yo, who cost 54,000 euros, looks sure to enjoy a sounder surface today and looks very capable of winning this. His odds allow an each-way bet.

Shavalko Dream is a two-time winner among Class 4 company, but the increasing mark and better company may be too much for this runner. The others aren't too impressive, and this runner may find a placing.

Can U Feel It has not been great in the two hurdle races so far but was called to the office to explain the poor show last time. Could be worth an EW chance at a huge price, as I think there could be a bit more today with the yard and today's rider doing well at the moment.
