Big Mojo has been campaigned exclusively over 6 furlongs this season, starting with an easy success in the Group 3 at Ascot. However, he’s had some issues at the highest level, despite going close last time out in the July Cup. He hit the front one out but couldn’t quite match the final surge of the winner, beaten only a neck but still clear of the rest. The return to the minimum trip, over the same course and distance where he scored last term, could give him a major chance. The rain-softened ground might also play to his strengths, providing that extra stamina edge. As a three-year-old, he benefits from a 3lb allowance, and with an official rating of 115, he’s the best-treated runner on paper. At around 11/2, he’s definitely worth considering.

There was no fluke in Time For Sandals’ performance at the Royal Meeting when she scored in the Commonwealth Cup, despite running on the wrong side of the track. The nearest pursuer who followed that route was Sky Majesty, who finished 8th but went on to win a Listed race at Naas next time out. Additionally, the second horse home, Arizona Blaze, boosted the form by winning a Group 2 at The Curragh. Always highly regarded at home, Harry Eustace’s filly is beginning to show her talent on the racecourse. Her previous outing in France resulted in a narrow head defeat to Woodshauna, who would go on to win a Group 1 at Deauville. If she can cope with the step down in distance to 5 furlongs, Time For Sandals should have an excellent chance of making the frame at around 6/1, especially with bookies paying 4 places.

Has some great form in the past, including at Royal Ascot in June. Needs to bounce back from a poor showing in Group 3 but can do it.

Led at a fast pace going clear halfway before being headed and weakening over 6 furlongs at Newmarket last time out and will probably take them all the way again from a good high draw with the drop in trip aiding those front-running tactics.

Is getting on in years now (9yo) but if i'm seeing things right, has only raced here twice and is 2/2. Won this race 3 years ago and i'm sure he will give his running today with a late charge knowing 'Frank'.

J M Jungle is an admirably consistent sprinter who has excelled this season. Steps up in class here, but is very consistent and should handle the softening ground.

Spartan Arrow gets the nod here, having won five races all over the minimum distance. Last time, won tenaciously in fast time with Hollie Dolly on board, and she has retained the ride.
