Won a maiden and novice hurdle at this course last season. Disappointed here over hurdles but now switched to fences and could run well.

Fav has been a decent hurdler, but with over 9 months off the track for chase debut, a safer run will be had with Holokea, another decent hurdler who ran a solid 2nd on chase debut in May.

MADAKET has won two hurdle races at 2m 3f and 3m 1f. Sixth in a chase over 2m 7f at Lingfield on his latest outing in February. Upped in trip to 3m 1f should suit. Seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

Lightly raced 8-year-old. He was a very close runner-up when last seen during the summer. He looks like the type who runs his best races after a break. Trip, ground, and current mark all point to a big run today. He’s been 1st or 2nd in four of his eight chase starts, and they’ve been better races than this Class 4 contest today.

Ran well in his first outing of 2205 (February) with a runner up finish in a Class 3 handicap chase, but ran well below his capability next time out (7 months ago) when a 20L last of 5 in a Class 3 handicap chase (started 2/1 fav). Although returning from a long break today he has previously ran well on returning from a long absence, so giving hm the benefit of the doubt after his last poor performance we could see an improved performance today at big odds of 18/1 when he drops down in grade and has sean Bowen taking over in the saddle

Low-mileage Presenting gelding who is a point winner, and a winning hurdler. He had three starts over fences back in the spring, and his best effort was on his penultimate start when runner-up over today's trip at Hereford. He at least finished that distance, and if fit to go, he could well go close here with the in-form Ben Jones on top.

SUPPORT ACT has won a NH flat race and a hurdle race at 2m and 2m 1f. Pulled up in a chase over 3m at Wetherby on his latest outing in February. Upped in trip to 3m 1f should suit. Seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

Has won/run very well fresh in the past, so lack of recent run should not be an issue here. Will be keeping on well when many would have cried enough on this ground, won a class 3 on heavy ground on penultimate start off 115 so not badly handicapped in this class 4 off 119, good jockey retains ride and shrewd trainer is 40 percent last 14 days, making current 28/1 worth Ew consideration here.
