Dish Of The Day has been placed in one race from eight starts. Third in a hurdle race over 2m 3f at Stratford on his latest outing in March. Upped in trip to 2m 6f, which should suit. Seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

Has only won once over hurdles but ran well at Taunton last time when finishing 3rd of 6. Should go close if repeating that form today.

Watchoutitscookie was only beaten half a length when 2nd of 14 at Wincanton, out of the handicap, when ridden by Miss Shannon Holmes. His handicap mark has been pushed back to 78 from 72. That was his first run for 148 days. This horse, which mixes chasing with hurdling, could get only his third win, having won a chase in 2024 and a hurdle in 2023.

Given the conditions, then feel the coins in the air with this race. Moonlight Artist is interesting and this is a return to hurdles. What makes that significant is the selection had wind op and then second before winning a chase. This is the first hurdle run, and heavy ground over this distance may well see results.

A 5-year-old French horse, yet to show any good form in three hurdles races, but wearing first-time cheekpieces over a suitable distance. Heavy going may suit, with his jockey claiming 5 lb. He had a run in November after a long break, which may also help.

The Harriet Dickin-trained mare gained her only win to date in January when having her first run following wind surgery. She didn't run at all badly at Bangor ten days later and fell halfway through her next race when leading. She was pulled up at Ffos Las last month. It's quite probable that she needed the run after nine months off. She will handle the underfoot conditions, and her double-figure odds could prove generous.

A chance is taken on Whatmakes Honey B in a race that doesn't look particularly strong. Good amateur jockey booked in, Ed Vaughan (claims 5 lbs). Hasn't had many hurdles outings and was a 14-1 winner on his second start in handicap competition. There were excuses when pulled up on return in November. All have some questions to answer, and while stable form is weak, he looks a big price at 33-1.
