This filly ran way above expectations when 5th in a listed race last time out. She looks well handicapped on that run and can reward each-way support in this race.

Kitty Furnival (IRE) is a 4-year-old filly by Zarak out of Fuse, trained by S & E Crisford, with Jack Callan doing the steering. She carries an official rating of 88. Kitty Furnival is arriving in decent order??'she won at Lingfield in June (first success of the season) and followed that with a solid front-running performance at Southwell where she was third, holding her form over 1m 3f. She has shown she handles both turf and all-weather well, and returns to turf in a testing fixture that should suit her stamina. With her rating fair, the likely strong pace expected in this fillies’ handicap looks one she can capitalise on from behind or midfield. If Callan times the move well and she’s ready to fire. Callan is in fine form at the moment so at 14/1 kitty looks like a good value bet in this field. In her last outing she finished 2 lengths off (Crowd quake) the winner that day who went on to run a good second on good to soft ground at Doncaster next time out so this adds more confidence for a good run tomorrow.

Another overpriced Balding horse at again 14/1. One of the most proven horses in the field and has only had 1 run on similar conditions, and that run leaves it best handicapped at the same time as still seeming progressive. It has a massive chance in this, and I expect it to go off a lot shorter come Friday. Should have every chance, has solid class for this, and should easily stay judging by the run it had at Epsom on a very strong pace, which in my opinion was a career best. Last time out, the pace was fairly weak on distance debut, and today the pace should be very hot, so I expect it to improve for that also. Strong bet but very trappy race at the same time with many unexposed horses.
