Schrodinger's Cat looks like a serious contender at Chester tomorrow, arriving on the back of an eye-catching second at Thirsk last month. That performance proved he is more than capable of handling the step up to Class 3 company, and his consistent record??'having finished in the top four in seven of his eight lifetime starts??'makes him one of the most reliable runners in the field. Crucially for a track like Chester, he has secured a low draw in stall 4, which should allow jockey Oliver Stammers to break early and and grab a prominent position early. Jockey and trainer have a strike rate of 20% in the last 14 days and im hoping for a big run for the yards only runner at Chester.

Ran a really nice race at Bath. Looks likely to be on the improve. Not the best of draws, but if he can break quickly, he should be in a position to be up with the pace.

Kolkata Knight has won two races at 5f and 6f. Second over 5f at Wolverhampton on his latest outing in March. Course, distance, and going should suit. Seems well treated and could very well be able to go one better and win this race.

Charlie Hills runner who came good at southwell last run . 5 Furlong sprinter in form is always a good angle . Draw is also good in (5). Stable amongst the winners in the last fortnight.

Ran over 6f here 2 days ago. Oisin Murphy takes over in the saddle. Drops to 5f, looks to suit. Good ground will help this time around. Each-way chance.

Wyle Cop is a 3yo colt with one win in a Class 4 maiden at Wolverhampton and has shown some ability with a couple of placed efforts over sprint trips. However, his latest run was a heavy defeat, suggesting he may struggle when stepped up in handicap company at this stage. He looks better suited to slightly easier company where he can build confidence.

At odds of 28/1, she presents a solid each-way opportunity, having triumphed as a novice at Doncaster and possessing a distinguished pedigree. Even though her recent form has not been ideal, she is a swift 3-year-old colt dropping into a more manageable grade with a 5 lb claimer on board. Her previous strong form, finishing 2nd on turf at Chester, indicates she is likely to perform well.

A speculative chance is taken on Arlo's Girl, who won on her debut last year but only placed fourth on her last run at Southwell at the end of January. She is drawn in stall eight and could outrun her odds and sneak into a place.
