ROXIMAN finished third in a bumper on debut back in November. It was a race in which the front three pulled clear to finish within half a length of one another. Those three renew rivalries again today. The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding is taken to turn around that form. He was green that day and looked a little unsure of what to do when asked to go and win the race. He looks the sort who will have taken a big step forward, and he can put that experience to good use today.

This looks like a typically competitive Cheltenham junior bumper and the one that interests me at the price is Maestrow, trained by in form Ben Pauling. He is by Masterstroke who has produced a few decent bumper horses this year and out of a Stowaway mare who is related to numerous winners including Ned Kelly and Nick Dundee who were brilliant horses for Edward O'Grady. Deep Run is also not too far back in the pedigree which is always a good sign and I love to see as he is one of the best influences in National Hunt racing.
