Jim Best's entry ALMAVILLALOBAS brings little experience and, to be fair, any worthwhile form. I find it interesting. Firstly, he booked a 3 lb rider for him rather than take 3 off first string and top weight. Secondly, he ran here once before on his first start in a handicap on 5/9, beaten roughly 4 lengths, seemingly enjoying the camber idiosyncratic track. The trainer is not averse to having big-priced winners. At 66/1, huge prices on the exchanges might cause a turn up returning to the seaside. This is a poor race; the coast should ensure it's run at a true gallop, getting weight off the whole field.
