This ex Joseph O'Brien horse is surely worth a little bet here now that he has his essential soft ground once more. He's slipped down to a career low mark of 65 now and his 2 career wins were both on soft/heavy, one was a maiden and the other was off 72. The trainer has also been messing around with different trips but I suspect he's been attempting to line up a coup and conditions look ideal now. A new jockey is booked (he's only been booked once before and it was the horses best run in recent times) and it could be all systems go now.

A 3-time winner at this C&D, and recently finished 4th in a handicap at Carlisle just 9 days ago, where his positioning wasn't ideal. However, he remains a contender here at the same rating. With odds set at 24/1, an each-way bet presents excellent value.
