Has been in good form with two wins from his last three races. The 7 lb increase might not be enough to stop him making it three from four here.

Matt Connor was a decent flat horse for Henry de Bromhead in 2023, winning twice. Now with J. P. Dempsey he is an improving hurdler who has been strong at the finish over two miles. He won at Limerick in October off 107 and was a decent 4th of 17 at Leopardstown last time off 114. Off the same mark, with an extra two and a half furlongs, he should go close.

He has proven to be competitive at around this distance but has yet to clinch a victory. He showed progress at a shorter 2m distance, finishing third at Navan in December. While he is on the rise and has the ability to finish in the top ranks at this distance, his record indicates he is a consistent place option rather than a dominant winner at this level, making each-way at reasonable odds a value choice.

This looks as good a bet as any, ridden again by J. J. Slevin. Has shown useful form so far, including at Naas. So, after a break from racing, should be there or thereabouts at the finish for this top Irish stable. One of the more likely winners, with further improvement likely.

A very open-looking handicap where The Flying Bee appeals at 14/1. He has been running consistently on this kind of mark, and Naas should suit his prominent style of racing. The race hasn't got a lot of depth.

Was a winner over this course and distance in January last year and placed on penultimate start at Fairyhouse in April. Makes stable debut and can go well fresh. Holds an each-way chance.
