Race 3 at Dundalk today is a handicap over 1,609 m flat race for 3 y.o. and upwards and will be run on the Polytrack. The suggested wager is for the each way on the 6yo gelding Rampage from the Tom G. McCourt yard and will be ridden by James Ryan. This son of New Bay is a three-time winner and has won twice over this course and distance. Returning to the scene of his last win makes him a dangerous customer in this field. Must include in all calculations.

Recent turf form figures better than they look on paper and this C/D winner does go well here @ Dundalk. Retains a decent mark of 61 here and fair draw makes current 12/1 solid Ew value in the race.

Last month, the 3-year-old finished 3rd in a claimer here, followed by a win in a claimer at Bellewstown earlier this month. However, he finished 8th at Gowran Park 9 days ago, starting slowly and failing to get involved. A rebound is needed, and an each-way option is feasible with Sheridan back on board.

They say a change is as good as a break and this could ring true for Denis Coakley's 7 year old British Gelding CHAVAJOD Who should/could relish a return to this surface now 12lbs lighter for his last victory here @Dundalk & has 2 wins/5 places from 13 runs over this 1 mile trip infact his whole place record is 53.85% (place strike rate) on this surface which is nothing to be dismissed so easily. You could Argue that the draw in stall #11 won't do this charge any favours but this lad finished 3rd (1 length) when running from this stall previously. I can't dress this up anymore this plucky grey is very well treated on hod back form here so hopefully the return here reignites the fuse & at 16/1 I'm happy to have a small EW Poke.

Albion Power ran well when winning here in February. Although disappointing since, it is risked as a small each-way wager to return to that form again here at Dundalk.

Green Icon is better drawn today in 1. Didn't have a chance but was only 5 lengths behind finishing 13th. Can make that ground up easily today. The Curragh 3rd is good form also. Top jock booked and with 4 places today from that draw, I'll take my chances at 28/1 EW nap.
