I’m leaning into Ted Walsh’s ‘Sakakawea’. She has to leave two recent duck eggs on soft/heavy going behind, so forgiveness is required. This is her first run on the polytrack (the dam did win on it). She’s a winner on the turf over 6f last season. Billy Lee, who rode her that day, did say she’ll get 7f. Sports first-time cheekpieces. I like the booking of Chris Hayes, and the low draw is no hindrance either. It’s risky. I’d like to see market confidence, but I’ll take a wild swing.
