Cranbourne Racetrack Guide
The Cranbourne Racecourse is located in Victoria with the track itself being around 44kms southeast of Melbourne.
The track is 1,700m in circumference and it features a starting chute for races over 1,200m up to 1,600m.
The track can be rather demanding compared to others with the final 600m of the circuit being all uphill including the 300m run-in.
The course is close to Melbourne and is a chance for local trainers to start off their runners with the idea of progressing to running them at the bigger tracks in Melbourne.
The feature of the season is the Cranbourne Cup, a handicap race that is run over 2,025m and is usually held in October.
The venue is a multi-use venue and for one race day features a tri-code meeting, 23 races, 8 of which for gallops, 8 for trots and 7 for dogs with races going off every 15 minutes!
Using the Cranbourne Racing Tips
Each race during the racing season at Cranbourne will be listed and along with each race will be the runner who has received the most picks, that is the Cranbourne racing tips for the race from the racing tipsters.
Also, for each 'Most Tipped' runner, you can see exactly how many tips that runner has received compared to the total number of tips on the race itself.
This gives you the percentage of tips that have been placed on the runner which is also used with the odds to give you a 'Value Rating'.
If you wish to use the most tipped runners to bet on, you can use the 'Add to Betslip' option. This will add the runner to the OLBG Betslip, you can add as many runners as you like.
Once happy with your betslip, you can then view which bookmaker is offering the best odds. Selecting this bookmaker will transfer the betslip over to their site where you can place your bet.
Alternatively, you can click on the 'All Tips' option, this takes you to the race page where you can view all runners for each race.
Here you can see which runners have received tips and read any comments left by our racing tipsters. You can also add runners to your betslip on the race page.
If there are currently no tips on this page then it will be because there is currently no meeting scheduled for today. Why not head over to our 'Horse Racing Tips' page to see what our tipsters are backing elsewhere?
