Aramco Houston Championship Tips

Hull often disappoints me, so it's Boutier here. She's world number 20 and has been coming into form with a 2nd at the Mizuho Open and a 4th at the Meijer Classic. She's had a few other top 20s since, and in this weaker field, this could well be a confidence booster.

Won in Germany in June and was a runner-up the month before. Not quite at that level since, but offers some value here to place top five and a viable alternative to Charley Hull at the prices.

Alice Hewson looks a lively contender for the win here this week as her game looks to be in good solid shape this season with her running a driving accuracy of 73.64%, backed up with greens in regulation of 69.56%. If she can find the putter this week, I think she stands a great chance around this course.

Daniela Darque has risen more than 200 spots on the world rankings since May, which shows the ascent that her game has enjoyed in recent months. She backed up that momentum with a recent 2nd place finish at the PIF London Championship, so she will be feeling confident she can compete in fields like this.

Adela Cernousek has been under the radar, quietly adjusting to life on tour, having won the 2024 NCAA individual title in impressive fashion. She ranks 22nd on the LPGA for driving distance, and that, coupled with her ability to keep her cards relatively clean, ranking 7th on tour for bogey avoidance, is a combination that I think can be rewarded handsomely this week.
