Players Championship 32 Tips

Littler is in such superb form, including yet another Grand Prix victory last week. Even at this very short price, I can't see past him because it's just so difficult to see who can beat him.

Humphries is now starting to lose fairly consistently against Luke Littler, the world champion. But he remains a wonderful player, and his odds have spiked unjustifiably today.

Van Veen is perhaps in the best form of his career, and I only see him getting better. Yes, Littler is a threat whenever he appears, but the better value lies here.

Despite Rock's Grand Prix disappointing show, he's still in top form. It wouldn't surprise me if he were to blow most of the opposition away today. He's the one I want for a deep run.

Nathan Aspinall has been in tremendous form this week. He reached the final in Players Championship 31 and lost to Jermaine Wattimena. The Welsh player is the value bet here.

Wessel Nijman played in the 1/4-final yesterday. He won PC30 before that. I like him at the given odds. He is in the best form of the year if we look at PC tournaments.

PDC Tour is getting close to the end, just 3 more PCs left. Heta won twice this year at PC13 and PC20 and was runner-up at PC30.

Dirk van Duijvenbode shows flashes of old form. Solid Grand Prix from him. 7 wins in the last 11 matches. He can go on a good streak soon and win a tournament like this.

Although Rob Cross hasn't been the most consistent of all these players over the last few weeks and months, he's playing well in defeat where he did pick up a few good wins. Now is the time where he needs to pick up some wins so maybe he shows a bit more motivation and shows some improvement today.

Cameron Menzies had a solid Grand Prix. He showed flashes of his form that he had earlier this year when he won the Players Championship. I will play him at such big odds.

Martin Schindler won Players Championship 8. He reached the last 16 yesterday. One of a few players to consider in this odds range.

Niko Springer won his first title in his first full season on the PDC Tour. It was the Hungarian ET. He is yet to have a breakout run in the Players Championship, but definitely has the skills to do it. I feel he is interesting at this price.

Nightmare draw for Bradley Brooks yesterday, as he got Josh Rock in the first round. He remains a good bet at triple digits. He won this tournament not long ago and made a few other good attempts.

Joe Cullen was terrible yesterday, losing in the opening round, averaging just 83. But we are getting an extra 50 points on him today, which is too good to refuse for me. It is in true Cullen fashion to have stinkers like yesterday, but he is equally as likely to turn up in Rolls Royce fashion today and win the whole event. After yesterday's event, he now has 12 final appearances in his last 142 PC events over the last 5 and a half years, so a reliable sample. Getting 75/1 for him to get to the final here, when he has done it at a rate of around 1 in 12 in that period, looks juicy.

Zonneveld was one win away from the final yesterday. He is one of the players that is always doubted by oddsmakers, but has 4 semifinals in PC and 1 final this year.
