About the Korean KBL
The Korean KBL, which was established in 1997, simply stands for 'Korean Basketball League', is the top tier of basketball in South Korea.
The league features ten teams that play fifty-four games each during the regular season. That means each team plays the other nine teams a total of six times.
The top two teams advance straight to the semi-finals of the playoffs, whilst those in third to six play in the quarter-finals to decide on the other two semi-finalists.
The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus are the most successful team, having won seven titles, although their last title came in 2019.
