This could be another five-set affair just as the other two previous meetings have provided. I think if indeed it went down to the final set, it may well be the favorites getting the decision.

Considering that the 13/2 underdog Czechs are playing in neutral Philippines for the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship, and that they, despite losing both previous matches against the red-hot favorite Brazil, have taken them down to the final set on both occasions. They have also gained good results in their matches prior to the competition and look a lively chance, having beaten Serbia 3-0, while Brazil dropped a set to China in their opening win.

Iran are heavy favorites to bounce back from their opening defeat to Egypt (3-1). Meanwhile, Tunisia beat the hosts Philippines with ease (3-0), but that does not tell too much. Iran has won both previous meetings, losing just one set. I think 3-1 to Iran.

With Ukraine losing their last four internationals, they might concede at least one set to Algeria. I think it's worth taking at odds of 3/1.

As hosts of the 2025 World Champions for Men's Volleyball, the Philippines have managed to earn the right to be classed as a 'Seeded' team. They were beaten comprehensively 3-0 by Tunisia, no great shakes themselves with a world ranking of 40th place. It was the manner of the defeat, where they were outscored 75-53, which would suggest a much better nation like Egypt will have a great chance to repeat the straight setter as they are ranked 21st in the world.

France is ranked 4th in the Men's World Rankings for Volleyball. Their most recent defeats have been to only high-ranking teams like Poland (1st) and Slovenia (6th). Finland, a side ranked 21st, has been defeated on all of the four occasions they have met, surrendering just one set to them in that time. The Finns, I feel, are good enough to earn a set at least. 3-1 to France, as they gave 9th placed Argentina a scare, taking them to five sets before losing their World Championship opener.

Worth chancing China to beat Serbia in straight sets. They managed to do so as recently as June of this year in the Nations League. With Serbia losing their last six internationals, they are looking vulnerable to falling to the bottom of the group.

Both nations lost their opener, with China courtesy of winning a set against a very decent Brazil side (ranked third in the World Men's Rankings), whilst Serbia lost in straight sets to Czechia (World Ranking 19th). I think China, though not in great form themselves, can add on another loss to Serbia, who has lost their last six internationals. 7/4 on the Money Line looks good value.

Italy has managed to defeat Belgium in straight sets in their last four matches. However, it has been two years since the nations last met. Belgium, though ranked only 17th to Italy's 2nd, has been on a magnificent run of 12 wins in their last 13 internationals. I think there is a chance that Belgium could shock the Italians, who have lost most of their recent matches to top ten ranked sides. I think it will be a hard-fought game, going the distance like two heavyweight boxers slugging it out. Italy, as defending World Champions, to prevail 3-2.
