Surely Judd Trump makes the final. Mark Williams won a long hard duel against John Higgins in their quarter-final in a match so close, it ended up a black ball game in the decider. Trump reeled off the five frames needed to beat Luca Brecel 13-8 and that victory was very satisfying after the Belgian came back at him in the second session.

Judd Trump played great snooker to make the semi-final. When he lost the second session 3-5 after dropping the first four frames, he did brilliantly to take three of the next four, which gave him the confidence to take the evening session without loss. Mark Williams won the tightest of matches against Higgins, but I can't see the Welshman beating Trump. 17-13 is my prediction.
