Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix two years ago and that was a record ninth time he has won this race. He has finished on the podium in three of the last four years at Silverstone and I fancy the home favourite will be top three this afternoon at the British Grand Prix.

The Englishman starts fourth on the grid and I fancy he will really go for it this afternoon at Silverstone. Runner up to Hamilton in Barcelona and then won the Austrian Grand Prix, George Russell was fifth here in 2023 and I am siding with the Brit getting himself on the podium in this British Grand Prix.

Nico Hulkenberg registered a podium finish twelve months ago at Silverstone finishing third behind Norris and Piastri and he was sixth the year before. The German has performed the last two years at the British Grand Prix and I fancy he can secure another top six finish on Sunday.

The German has finished 11th or 12th in a half dozen Grand Prix's this season and I fancy Silverstone is a good track for him coming into the British Grand Prix. Third twelve months ago behind Norris and Piastri, Hulkenberg also registered a Top 6 the year before. The Audi driver starts eleventh and I am siding with him getting into the points this afternoon.
