Lightly raced M. Dods filly that is at the top of the handicap here. Must come on from some poor shows in recent races and may turn up at a price, although Brave Empire and Perfidia might be her chief dangers. Has the tongue-strap on for the first time and may be a different horse this time around. At over 20/1, worth a punt.

There are not many reasons to go to Leicester, but Qitaal may be one of them tomorrow. He has dropped in the handicap and this may give him the edge. This Charlie Johnston and Saffie Osborne charge hasn't won for two years, so is due to get his head in front. Mythical Bird is the odds-on favourite, but Qitaal doesn't know that, so don't tell him.

Greek Order has been running in some hot races, and although his form figures don't look great, he's shown enough to warrant that he can put up a good effort here. He's been coming back to form recently, and if he doesn't win then I'm going to have to run through the streets of Sheffield in just my pants.

Won this race last year and has dropped enough in the handicap that he now looks a certainty for this one if turning up. Unbeaten here over two races, he can make it 3/3. I am guessing that Tinto for the Dodds/Beasley combo might be the greatest threat.

Like the price about this one. If the front-runners go off too fast, it may be set up for him. He's held his own in some hot handicaps over the last races and since his last win, so may surprise the Varian horse at the half-furlong marker. Some work to do, and he might do it.

Ian Williams' runner over 20/1? Has been tried over different distances, but I think the 1½ miles will suit her best. A return to turf may also help this Camelot daughter show her best. Yes, she might disappoint again, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Worth a few speculative bob.
