  Although Precise is very much the hype filly at the moment and it's hard not to be impressed by what she's done on the track, Blue Bolt certainly looks capable of holding her own against the Precise, and the price differential between the two is far too big. Following a productive juvenile campaign that included a listed win and a runner up effort in the ì Sun Chariot, Balding''s trainee was reported to have strengthened up nicely over the winter and she certainly has been showing that to be true in the afternoon. A cozy win in a listed at Goodwood on her return was followed by a tremendous Royal Ascot success last time, in which she matched Precise's effort on figs two days later (run over the same C&D and with an almost identical pace set). Off pure sectionals you can argue that Blue Bolt's effort eclipsed Precise's, and as she now makes her third start back off the layoff, she may be capable of improving again. A strong pace should suit and here's plenty to like at 3/1.
