Has been put up 3lb for a win last time out, and that leaves room for improvement. The 6-year-old can add to his stable's fantastic form on a Saturday, and this step up in trip can see his stamina come into play.

Looking for value against the very short-priced favorite, and Crambo could be the one at a nice price. A dual Grade 1 winner, a three-time course and distance winner, and a fine first-time-up record, Crambo can run well to grab at least a place.

A tough-as-teak gelding who is consistent and seems to prefer a galloping course. He can turn the tables on Calico. The 8-year-old is 7lb better off with that one, and with that run under his belt, can again run well.

Ran well in a hurdle race last time out following a poor run at Perth in chase (3 runs, 3 poor efforts at that track), and this track should suit well. A 3lb drop in the weight from his last chase run sees him on his last winning mark, and a useful 5lb claimer gets his first ride on the horse and is riding at a 30% win rate over the last 2 weeks.
