Wide dog with a vacant trap on his inside should aid his cause. Only just turned 2 years old and lightly raced. He trialled really well on his only visit recently, and if he can produce under race conditions, then he should take a lot of beating.

Quick puppy who trialed in a very good time just over a week ago. Only raced three times but won all 3 easily when taking the Puppy Cup at Hove by 8 1/2 lengths, breaking the 29-second barrier. Winning the Greyhound Derby is a big ask for such a young and inexperienced dog, but he should be up to taking a first-round heat. Boylesports Bob is the danger as an experienced campaigner who should get a clear run from his wide draw, though it is a concern he was pulled by the stewards prior to his prep run here.
