KuPS and Ilves have had mixed results when encountering each other. Ilves arrive to this game in much better form than KuPS. With KuPS at home and a chance of going top if league results go their way today, beating Ilves by one goal or by a 2-1 score is possible. It is hard to call what the goal line count will be.

DR Congo held Portugal to a 1-1 draw, and I could not understand Portugal's play. They had chances to lob the Congo defensive high line for Ronaldo to run onto, but they were just happy to pass the ball forward and then backwards more often than not. That saw Ronaldo hardly touching the ball and not given any chance to be a threat to DR Congo. Portugal now meet Uzbekistan, a country they have never met before, and Uzbekistan are at their first World Cup. They lost 3-1 to Colombia, who do look useful. With Uzbekistan players playing for their country and the shirt being worn with hearts on their sleeves, they could demonstrate they can match Portugal and gain a point, with Colombia to come. The question for all football fans will be: will Ronaldo be playing, will he start, or will he come on later in the game? If the Uzbekistan team can stay focused and keep their defensive line together, they might prove hard to beat.

Come on, England. Let's see what you can do for the second time. England were held by Croatia in the first forty-five minutes. Let's hope Anderson, Rice (if fit), Bellingham and Kane can deliver in the first half and the second half. England never gave Anthony Gordon the ball in the Croatia game and he was free many times. Hopefully they can change tactical play and feed this exciting player, with him either scoring or assisting the likes of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham. Noni Madueke is right-footed, and I do like this player, but surely there must be a gifted left winger in the country with a left foot who does not need to turn onto his right foot to cross the ball. Hopefully England can beat Ghana, as this African nation will test England for sure, and they are not afraid to strike a shot at goal from outside the box. Hopefully Pickford can keep his defence focused and Stones will be more positive in his play, as he did look a bit pedestrian at times when Croatia were attacking. England win around 3-0, with Harry Kane scoring to be like Messi, Haaland and Mbappé.
