Liverpool took an age to beat Burnley despite a load of possession and chances. They face an Everton side that is likely to play in the same way as Burnley. Liverpool will have to find a way to score against 11 men behind the ball. They should be able to do that eventually as they have a fine home record and rarely fail to score at home.

Burnley kept Liverpool quiet until eventually losing 1-0 in injury time via a penalty. With Forest in transition, it may be time before they get used to the new manager. That should make this game a learning one for the Forest side, and a draw would not be a bad start for the new manager.

Leeds should have a fair chance of winning this game if you look at their stats so far this season. They drew with Newcastle two games ago and dominated the game at Fulham, only to be sucker-punched by the home team in one of their rare chances in that game. Wolves have been poor so far, and even though they only lost 1-0 at Newcastle, they have still conceded nine times and only scored twice.

I will take a punt on West Ham getting a win in this game. They have been poor so far and conceded 11 times, but they face a Palace side that has drawn 2 of the 4 games they have played 0-0 and were unable to break down a promoted side last match. Palace have drawn 3 of their 4 games so far.

Spurs were beaten easily by Bournemouth 2 games ago, and their XG in that game was well below 1. Brighton should be able to play in the same way as Bournemouth did and dominate possession. Brighton beat Man City in their last home game, and Spurs do not look as good as City right now.

Chelsea were not at their best last week, even though they got an away draw. Man United were ripped apart by a Man City side that just seemed to want it more last week. United do have the talent to win games, and it just needs them to convert the many chances they have been making.

Fulham have been very poor in my opinion, and they have scraped a few results this year that they barely deserved. I much prefer to take a chance that Brentford can do enough to win this game, especially as they showed great character to get a point against Chelsea last week.

I would go with Villa in this game usually, but the fact that they cannot seem to score a goal right now is a big off-putter for me. With Sunderland in good form, I can see this game being a low-scoring draw. Villa and Sunderland did not score last week, and Villa have yet to score in 4 games.

Bournemouth have been very good this season and followed a win against Wolves with dominating wins over Spurs and Brighton. With Newcastle barely scoring at all up to now, I can see Bournemouth getting at least 1 and drawing at least in this game.

As long as Man City have Haaland in good form, they will always have a chance to score goals. You can see by the passion that City play with that the team is up for a fight this year. Arsenal have been very good up to now, but they will have to be at their best if they are to win this game. I can see a 1-1 draw in this game.
