The defending champion looks to have got a favourable draw in Blackpool and with Rock and Bunting out of form along with MVG and Clayton having early exits last weekend in Leverkusen I fancy The Nuke will only get stronger as the best of legs go longer. Luke Littler averaged 107 last year in the final and I am siding with him retaining his World Matchplay title.

The Dutchman reached the final last weekend in Leverkusen on the European Tour and I fancy if he gets past James Wade in the bottom quarter he could go along way in Blackpool. There has been some surprise semi finalists and finalists at the Winter Gardens and I am siding with Wattimena reaching the final.
