Losing Tim David is a big blow for the Hurricanes, but on the flip side Beau Webster becomes available for this one, which is some compensation. Chris Jordan has been impressive in the BBL so far and made mincemeat of the Renegades' batting in the earlier meeting. Losing David is a blow, but I think the Hurricanes still have the edge.

Failing to defend 257 against the Heat was a poor effort by the Scorchers. They followed that defeat up with another loss when going down to the Hurricanes. They weren't outclassed in those games, though, and they do have a good top order if Mitch Marsh can get going. Inglis might be available for this one, which would strengthen the side. The Thunder look a thoroughly unreliable bunch with the bat and are looking very beatable.
