Oklahoma are the defending champions, and I do think they will start with a win to open the new season. They have won two of the last three games against Houston, and I think at home they will open with a win.

Oklahoma City Thunder are the defending champions of the NBA, and last season at home to Houston, they beat them by 9, 15, and 19 points. I do think on the opening day of the new season, they will beat the Rockets and start with a big win.

Golden State Warriors beat the Lakers in the Summer California Classic and in April when they last met in the NBA. LeBron is missing early season, and I think that will make a huge difference. I do think the Warriors, with Butler and Curry, will win this season opener.

Three of the last four games between these two big teams have been Golden State Warriors wins. LeBron James is missing, and I do think this is a good time to get the Lakers early season. I think the Warriors will win in LA.

Orlando Magic had a good pre-season in the build-up to the first game week of the season, and I do think they can start with a win over the Heat. Orlando beat Miami twice at home last year, and I think the Magic beat the Heat.

The Nets have won three of the last four games against the Hornets, and I do think they can start with a win in Charlotte tonight. Five wins in seven away games against the Hornets, and I think this will be a Brooklyn opening win.

The Knicks reached the semi finals last season and I do think they can start this new season with a big win against the Cavaliers. There will be real expectation in New York and I think the Knicks open with a home win at Madison Square Garden.

Three of the last four games were Brooklyn wins against Charlotte and I do think the Nets can start with a win away in Charlotte. Five times in seven away games the Nets have won away to the Hornets and I think they can do it again in this season opener.

There have been two NBA meetings this calendar year, and the Toronto Raptors won them both. Three of the last four head-to-head games were wins for Toronto, and I do think they will see this as an away game they can win to start the season with a win.

The Raptors have won all meetings with the Atlanta Hawks in 2025, and I do think they will play well away to them tonight. Toronto has won the last three times they went to Atlanta, and I think Toronto will win tonight's game for a great start.

Boston Celtics have won the last three games against Philadelphia and I do think the 2024 NBA champions will start the new season with a home win. Boston beat the 76ers at home in March and I think the Celtics will be too strong.

Boston Celtics beat Philadelphia by eighteen points at home last year, and they have won the last three games against the 76ers. Each of those wins was by eight points or more, and I think in tonight's game, Boston will win it.

The Milwaukee Bucks have won the last three games against Washington and the last four home games against them were Milwaukee wins. I do think the Bucks will be dominant at home in this opening game and I think they beat the Wizards.

The last five NBA games between Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans were won by Memphis and I do think they will start the season with a win. The Pelicans lost their last few pre season games and I think they lose to Memphis today.

Chicago have won eight of the last eleven home games against Detroit, and I do think they can start the season with a home win. Detroit struggled through pre-season, and I think this will be a Chicago Bulls win.

Chicago Bulls start at home and I do think they will open up with a very good game. In eleven games at home to Detroit they have won eight and I think the Bulls get their win in tonight's game.
