Yankees do have a quality pitcher in Schittler, but he had an awful time of it last time, giving up 6 earned runs in 4 innings. He will have to pitch significantly better tonight for the Yankees to have a chance. The Yankees' form has fallen off a cliff, with just one win from their last 10. Their bats are cold, so even if Schittler has a good outing, I'm not sure the Yankees can score enough from the plate to win this.

Mikolas pitches for the Nationals, and he has had some impressive starts but also some shocking outings. If you get runs off him early, he tends to crumble. The Astros have the ability to do that. They score well and are one of the best home run teams around.

Braves lost 10-9 yesterday, but this looks a good bounce-back spot for them. Mets don't normally win back-to-back matches with them, not doing so in any of their last 15. Braves pitcher is Pérez, who is 4-1 with a 3.31 ERA. He gives them a clear edge against Peralta.

Roupp pitches for the Giants, who had a shocker last time, conceding 6 earned runs in 2.2 innings and walking 6 men. It's not the first time this has happened; earlier in the month he conceded 8 earned runs in 4 innings and walked 5. With his tendency to walk batters, I'm happy to oppose him. Gausman for the Blue Jays has had some excellent outings with a sprinkle of shockers. If he can keep things reasonably tight, the Blue Jays should get enough runs to win.
