Trainer does well with her hurdlers at this course. Well in with favourite (Dillarchie) weight-wise on previous run where the winner franked the form.

Make an each-way case for Castelfort here, with a proviso that he returns to his previous form of 122 RPR. Three runs back he was 122; now dropped back to 118, with a claimer taking 5 lb off. Recent trainer strike rate 20% and course chase percentage 22%. On my ratings he's still reasonably handicapped.

Been bought quietly to the boil for this and gets in off a light weight. Running on tacky ground and the new course, which is more stamina driven. Qualified for this last time out, finishing second to a good yardstick. With a trainer who knows the time of day in winning Cheltenham handicaps.

Cannot help thinking this horse has been specifically prepared for this race. He has been running all winter on softish ground he hates, gradually bringing his OR down to 137, which is what he ran off last year when winning at Cheltenham. He now has his ground.
