I think this horse has the best form in the field, with both of its second placings coming at the hands of two horses who look fairly useful. Claiming 3 pounds means it's running on a nice weight, and I'm not too concerned about the competition in the rest of the field.

I think the favorite in the race has a short price that can be exploited, so my selection is Number 1, Viroflay. Claiming 5 pounds and from a good yard, I think is a big advantage for this race. Has won over this course and is stepping back up to a distance it's won from before. I think this represents good value at 8.0/7-1.
