This Duffy yard has been quiet for a while now, but I made a note of this 8yo at Clonmel two starts back, expecting that the yard may have a couple of runners at this meeting, including this horse over this sort of trip. They actually have two in here, the other that has been shortened from 14s-8/1 in the market, both owned by the same connections. I've played both, but for value purposes, I'll chance this one on here.

Highly speculative, but I'm taking a chance here on this unexposed type who is with a yard that can get them ready around here at Wexford at this time of year. Been keeping an eye on this yard - ew.

At the weights, I'm willing to take a shot with this 8-year-old mare who has gone well around here in the past, winning twice last year. One run was off a 7lb higher mark. Just looks overpriced, back up in trip which looks most suitable - EW.

Slevin jumped aboard this filly now, and this step up in trip just could well suit. I made a note of her in the paddock at Downpatrick earlier this month, and she looked a nice type. Will most likely be better off in handicaps, but at the prices, I'd be willing to have a small each way poke from a betting perspective.

Looked fit as a flea when going down to the start at Yarmouth last time but got pulled out when being a handful at the start. Done no favors by the jockey and the starter, in my opinion. Willing to have a go here at the prices now that this 5lb claimer Jack Callan is aboard on handicap debut. Out of a Giant's Causeway mare who has produced 2-year-old winners.

Highly speculative, but I'm taking an each-way chance here on this 3-year-old filly who makes her handicap debut. She is out of a Lawman mare who coincidentally also has another of her offspring in this race, being the Jennifer Lynch-trained 8-year-old Dagoba, who was also bred by Cyril Ryan and has won around here as well as many good runs. The trip looks fine on breeding, slightly better ground too from when being pulled out last time due to the heavy conditions.

Didn't run too badly on debut just over a month ago. Willing to take a shot now that they are applying blinkers. Wouldn't surprise me if this 2-year-old puts in a better performance and gets closer to the market 2nd favorite, being Lucia Molly, who is 5/1 here. Also, switching to an AW surface might bring improvement - fair price.

Highly speculative on racecourse debut, looking for some each-way value against the odds-on shot. Decided to side with this Liam Lennon-trained son of Artic Chosmos with the 7lb claimer Caraga Monagahn taking the ride. Looks more of a speedier bred type in comparison to much of the field. Very small each-way speculation.

Declan Quealy has two runners at Downpatrick today. His other one, half an hour later, has seemingly a big shout on recent form. But out of his two runners, I will be taking a small shot on this one he has who is making hurdles debut today whilst Michael Keneally jumps aboard. Small win speculation.

Got a lot of time for this trainer Sosie, and all his runners always require a second look. Out of his three at Chepstow today, I'm going to take a small each-way shot on this 4-year-old who, whilst has had plenty of runs over hurdles, only one of them was in a handicap at Lingfield back in January in very testing conditions. Callum Pritchard jumps back aboard now, and this better ground should suit on all breeding. Should be fitter for that recent run at Salisbury too - each-way play.
