05:00 Dricus Du Plessis v Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev, the Chechen Wolf, has his first title shot in the UFC. His record is 14-0. He is a great grappler and comes out with an extremely aggressive style, mainly wrestling. He has been training with Abdulrashid Sadulaev, a 2x Olympic Champion. His opponent is the South African Dricus Du Plessis, with a record of 23-2, going into his third title defense, having won the belt from Israel Adesanya. Known as "the best worst fighter" because of his bad technique and high power striking, he's been able to win against two great fighters, Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland, but hasn't been tested in grappling skills. For this match-up, I consider Khamzat Chimaev to be extremely favored. For fans who are willing to make a more risky bet: Khamzat Chimaev to win by submission in less than 3.5 rounds. (I would say 60-65% chance.)

This fight should be an easy win by decision for Michael 'Venom' Page. Jared Cannonier had a successful career in MMA. Good fighter, huge power, and great fight IQ, although he is now 41 years old and has lost 2 out of his last 3 fights. MVP is better in every aspect of the fight. He should give J.C. a hard time by controlling distance.

Reinier De Ridder

The Dutchman Reinier De Ridder is the right pick. He entered the UFC as a veteran and champion in another promotion, with a record of 20-2. He has made 3 appearances in the UFC with 3 wins, all by the 'fast track,' no judges needed, 2 submissions and 1 KO. Having won against Kevin Holland and Bo Nickal, considered to be the next American hot shot in the promotion. De Ridder's fighting style is grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Nonetheless, he has shown great striking combos including knees and elbows. His opponent is Robert Whittaker with a record of 27-8, having lost 2 out of his last 4 fights. In his last fight against Khamzat Chimaev, he got submitted with a rear-naked choke which broke his jaw in a nasty way. He is not the fighter he used to be anymore. Having said this, I judge RDR to be a HUGE favorite although the odds don't say that, especially knowing that Whittaker's jaw will be a loose end for him. RDR will put the necessary pressure to make him tap out, with all his knowledge and experience in the octagon and BJJ black belt.

05:10 Max Holloway v Dustin Poirier

Max Holloway

Max Holloway is one of a kind, considered to be "the best boxer to ever fight in UFC." His record is 26-8. He only got knocked out once in his entire career by Ilia Topuria (current two-division champion), and his losses are to some of the best to ever play the sport. Great striker, younger, and a huge fight for his title shot. Dustin Poirier, one of the few to ever beat Conor McGregor (twice), has a record of 30-9, having lost 3 of his last 5 fights. Dustin once was an elite-level fighter (not that he isn't anymore), but he already announced this fight to be his last. Great striker, but as he said, he's got a "goose neck." Famous for being submitted when it matters the most. In my opinion, he is psychologically weak because of his last results, and when fighters usually announce their retirement, they don't perform as expected. Don't get me wrong, Dustin is a great fighter, and he will put on a great fight for fans. I'll stick to Max with confidence.
