He usually runs on the turf during the summer and needs one AW run after that to set him up. LTO was his first AW run, and he was fancied (7/1 --> 5/1) but didn't show much. That may have set him up for a better run today off 63.

Count Dorsay runs into form in October as he showed last year, winning off 75 and 77, after which he was raised a further 6 lb. He has been pretty much unfancied since then, but his mark has dropped into a very favorable range. He ran okay last time and was dropped a further 2 lb. He does appear to be the stable second string behind Bay Breeze, who won this last year but carries 1 lb more, whereas the Count is carrying 13 lb less than when he won at Catterick this time last year - and the odds are better. Count Dorsay can run well today off 64.
