22:45 Zurich Classic of New Orleans

Horschel/Hoge

50 WIN

@23.00

Lose

-50

I think a strong doubles team is Billy Horschel and Tom Hoge for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Hoge finished T-3 at the Players, T-5 at the Texas Open, T-14 at the Masters, and 18th at the Heritage last week. Billy Horschel has eight wins on the tour and his best recent finish was 4th at the Valspar. I feel these two will go close in this doubles tournament.

13:00 Chris Wakelin v Mark Allen

Chris Wakelin

Win Match

50 WIN

@3.50

Win

125

Chris Wakelin is a much improved player which Neil Robertson found to his anguish after their first round match ended in a 10-8 victory for the Englishman. Mark Allen beat Fan Zhengyi 10-6 in their first round match, but I feel Allen isn't 100% and Wakelin can take advantage.

Chris Wakelin to win 13-11

Frame Betting

@19.00

With the second round the best of 25, I'll take Chris Wakelin to beat Mark Allen 13-11 in this match. Allen didn't show any great form in the past year while Wakelin made the final of the International Championship beating Murphy, Williams and Higgins on his way. A much improved player, I fancy he can beat Allen 13-11 in this match.
24 April 2025
19:00 Mark Selby v Ben Woollaston

Mark Selby to win 10-9

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@13.00

Lose

-50

Mark Selby faces his buddy Ben Woollaston in this first-round match and should secure the win. Woollaston has shown improved form, especially at the World Championship qualifiers, where wins over Mark Davis and Ross Muir got him to the Crucible. With his vast experience, I expect Selby to win, so I'll take a 10-9 Selby victory here.
14:30 Luca Brecel v Ryan Day

Ryan Day to win 10-9

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@12.00

Lose

-50

Luca Brecel won the world championship in 2023 playing great snooker throughout the tournament. His form since hasn't been good with the Belgian losing matches through not practicing enough. He plays the dangerous Ryan Day who played very well in qualifying beating Sanderson Lam and Sunny Akani both by 10-5 scores. I will take Day to beat Brecel by a 10-9 score.
23 April 2025
20:00 Arsenal v Crystal Palace

Arsenal

50 WIN

@1.40

Lose

-50

Crystal Palace have gone off the boil after some excellent results in Feb/March. Losing 5-2 to Man City at the Etihad and 5-0 to Newcastle at St James Park, and a scoreless draw at home to Bournemouth is the opposite of their great form of the previous couple of months. Arsenal beat Palace 1-5 at Selhurst in December, with a similar result at the Emirates a strong possibility this evening.
22 April 2025
20:00 Man City v Aston Villa

Man City

50 WIN

@1.95

Win

47

Man City are finding their form again, winning three, drawing two, and losing one of their last six. Aston Villa have won five straight games and beat City at Villa Park in December. City can go 3rd with a win. It promises to be close, so I'll pick a City win.
19:00 Si Jiahui v David Gilbert

Si Jiahui

Win Match

50 WIN

@1.73

Win

37

David Gilbert was a little fortunate to qualify, beating Aaron Hill 10-9 in the qualifiers, having trailed 7-9. He plays one of China's top players, Si Jiahui. The Chinese player nearly made the semi-finals a couple of years ago, only to lose a close match to eventual winner Luka Brecel. I think Jiahui will progress with a win.

Si Jiahui to win 10-8

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@8.50

-50

Si Jiahui almost made the final two years ago before eventual winner Luca Brecel won a string of frames to take the match. At 22, Jiahui can repeat that form starting with a win over David Gilbert, who had to pull out all the stops to beat Aaron Hill 10-9 in the final qualifier. I'll take Jiahui to win 10-8.
14:30 Ding Junhui v Zak Surety

Zak Surety

Win Match

50 WIN

@4.00

-50

Zak Surety surprised everyone by qualifying for the Crucible winning three qualifiers with wins over Lisowski and Walden. He can keep his run going with victory over Ding Junhui. Already the top players are falling with Wilson and Robertson out.

Zak Surety to win 10-8

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@15.00

-50

Zak Surety beat Jack Lisowski and Rickie Walden in the qualifying rounds and can continue his great run by beating Ding Junhui. The Chinese player is strong fav to advance, but so were Kyren Wilson and Neil Robertson, now both gone. Take Surety to win 10-8.
21 April 2025
20:00 Tottenham v Nottm Forest

Draw

50 WIN

@3.60

Lose

-50

With four points from their last six games, Tottenham need to stop the rot at home to 6th in the table Nottingham Forest. Spurs are without Son and probably key midfielder Maddison. Forest have lost their last two games to Villa and Everton. They did beat Tottenham 1-0 on Boxing Day, putting them 3rd in the table. That form is missing, so I think a draw might happen.
17:00 5:00 Fairyhouse

Haiti Couleurs

Daily Racing

50 WINNAP

@7.50

Win

325

The very consistent Haiti Couleurs represents the Rebecca Curtis yard and is a market leader for the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse today. With five victories under his belt, the eight-year-old gelding, who is an out-and-out stayer, won an 18-runner 30F handicap chase at Cheltenham last month by over four lengths. Jockey in form, Sean Bowen, is in the saddle.
16:20 4:20 Fairyhouse

Heart Wood

-50

Heart Wood represents the Henry De Bromhead yard and with a runner-up to Willie Mullins Fact To File at the Ryanair in March, the seven-year-old looks a certainty to go close under Rachael Blackmore in this extended 19 furlong grade 2 chase.
15:50 3:50 Fairyhouse

Lantry Lady

50 WIN

@10.00

Lose

-50

The softer ground should suit Henry De Bromhead's Lantry Lady who hasn't had a run since needing the race when 4th of eight in a 20 furlong beginners chase at Naas in January. This unexposed 7-year-old mare can put in a strong challenge in this grade 2 hurdle.

50 WIN

@5.00

Lose

-50

Come Walk With Me has had four runs finishing 5/25 on debut and three runner-up finishes over 20, 16, and 20 furlongs, the last a close second to an odds-on fav. Making his handicap debut, I fancy this runner to challenge in this handicap.
14:40 2:40 Fairyhouse

Blue Lemons

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@3.50

Win

125

Blue Lemons represents the Willie Mullins yard, and top jock Paul Townend has the ride, making this runner the favorite to land this juvenile hurdle. Formerly with Richard Hannon, the four-year-old won on debut for the current yard but wasn't right at Cheltenham last month, pulling up. Sure to be readied for this two-miler.
14:30 Mark Allen v Fan Zhengyi

Fan Zhengyi

Win Match

50 WIN

@4.25

Lose

-50

Being 4-5 behind against Mark Allen means little for Chinese star Fan Zhengyi who is playing super snooker as are all the Chinese players. Allen isn't at his best, though still a quality player, but I think Zhengyi has the game to beat the Irishman.
14:05 2:05 Fairyhouse

Stuntman Steve

Gavin Cromwell's Stuntman Steve was going well and challenging when falling at the penultimate hurdle in a Thurles two mile handicap hurdle in January. Could have a great chance if ready to roll at Fairyhouse today.

Southgate Avenue will appreciate the softer ground and shorter distance after running well but tiring late on over an extended 18 furlongs in the Glenary Handicap Hurdle at Clonmel 25 days ago. Possibility of making the frame here.
10:00 Jak Jones v Zhao Xintong

Zhao Xintong to win 10-8

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@8.00

Lose

-50

China looks to be taking over snooker with ten players in the last 32 at the Crucible. World Champion Kyren Wilson was sensationally knocked out in the first round by Chinese player Lei Peifan. China's Zhao Xintong is a likely winner of the Championship this year having dominated since his ban. I think he'll beat last year's finalist Jak Jones who hasn't done much in subsequent tournaments. Xintong to win 10 frames to 8.
10:00 John Higgins v Joe O Connor

Joe O Connor to win 10-9

Frame Betting

50 WIN

@11.00

Lose

-50

Joe O'Connor was very strong in the qualifiers and will be a tough opponent for the former world champion John Higgins. It will be a close match between these two, and as O'Connor is a much-improved player, I predict a 10-9 win for him.

22:45 RBC Heritage

Sepp Straka

25 EW

@41.00

Lose

-50

Sepp Straka has won on three occasions on American soil. His latest success came at the American Express in January. He missed the cut at the Masters, but his game is suited to easier U.S. courses. I think he will go close at the RBC.

Viktor Hovland

25 EW

@34.00

Lose

-50

A seven-time winner on the PGA Tour, Norway's Viktor Hovland has his form back after a lean period. The win at the Valspar last month wasn't expected as his form just wasn't there, but he showed the work he put in paid off. What makes Hovland a class apart is his strong mindset, so I think he will get a top 6 at the RBC.
21:00 RBC Heritage

Viktor Hovland

1st Round Leader

50 WIN

@34.00

Lose

-50

Viktor Hovland is only 27 and was winning his 7th PGA tournament at the Valspar last month and a 21st place finish at the Masters shows the man from Norway is flying again after going through a bad spell. I think he will be a contender at the RBC Heritage. I will take him to lead after first day's play.
16:30 Leicester v Liverpool

Liverpool

50 WIN

@1.22

Win

11

These teams met at Anfield on Boxing Day with Liverpool 3-1 winners, though Leicester led after six minutes. But Slot's boys ran the show in the second half, scoring three. I think a similar outcome will be the case today as Leicester look a spent force in this league.
14:00 Abu Dhabi Challenge

Adri Arnaus

50 WIN

@19.00

Lose

-50

Take a chance on Adri Arnaus winning the Abu Dhabi Challenge. The Spanish golfer was always one of the main market leaders a couple of seasons ago, but his form dried up for a period. Better form in recent events has him as one of the favourites in this event.
14:00 Fulham v Chelsea

Chelsea

50 WIN

@2.30

Win

65

Fulham beat Chelsea in the away fixture in December with two late strikes, but Chelsea have improved since then with recent form solid enough. Fulham are a strong side who have a recent win over leaders Liverpool. Chelsea, though, have individual players who can change a game.
14:00 Ipswich v Arsenal

Arsenal

50 WIN

@1.38

Win

19

Ipswich Town are showing plenty of fighting spirit with a win away at Bournemouth earlier this month and a draw with Chelsea last week. With home advantage, they may give Arsenal a hard time, but the Gunners, with 42 more points than them, should be too good.
14:00 Man Utd v Wolverhampton

Man Utd

50 WIN

@2.30

Lose

-50

A favourable, if fortunate, result against Lyon in the Europa Cup in midweek will give Manchester United that lift to feel confident enough to secure a win against Wolverhampton in the Premiership. Home advantage will surely benefit United despite Wolves winning their last four games. Home win.
08:45 Volvo China Open

Angel Ayora

25 EW

@51.00

Lose

-50

Angel Ayora is a young golfer from Spain who is expected to be the next Seve Ballesteros or similar. I think he's worth a chance at the China Open because of his all round skills including great driving and excellent putting. Attractive E/W odds.

Keita Nakajima

50 WIN

@15.00

Lose

-50

Keita Nakajima has been playing some brilliant golf lately with runner-up spots at the Singapore Classic and Hero Indian Open. The Japanese golfer has one win on the DP World Tour, but I expect lots more will follow in the future.

Keita Nakajima

1st Round Leader

50 WIN

@36.00

Lose

-50

With two second place finishes in Singapore and India, Japan's Keita Nakajima has the current form to go close again in China this week. Nakajima is improving by the tournament and looks sure to add many more victories to his 2024 Indian Open. I think he can lead after day 1 in China this week.

17:30 Aston Villa v Newcastle

Aston Villa

50 WIN

@2.40

Win

70

Both Aston Villa and Newcastle have five wins and a defeat from their last six games. Villa are out of Europe after a good run ended in a close defeat to PSG. A close game seems likely, but for me, I think Aston Villa, with home advantage, will take the points.

-50

Take Heart won the class 2, 17-runner Coral Chesterfield Cup Handicap over an extended 9 furlongs at Goodwood in July. He ran 9th of 27 in the Irish Lincolnshire at the Curragh in March, looking like he needed longer, and this extended 10 furlongs should be more to his liking.
15:00 Brentford v Brighton

Brentford

50 WIN

@2.50

Win

75

Brighton have played poorly in their last few games, losing 0-3 to Aston Villa at home, 2-1 away, and drawing with Leicester last week. Brentford drew at Arsenal last week and, with home advantage, can take the points.
15:00 Crystal Palace v Bournemouth

Draw

50 WIN

@3.60

Win

130

With three wins, a draw, and two defeats in six games, Crystal Palace will welcome Bournemouth, who have 1 win, three defeats, and a draw in their last six (the win coming last game). I think a draw will result here.
15:00 Everton v Man City

Man City

50 WIN

@1.95

Win

47

After a string of draws, Everton got an impressive win at Nottingham Forest last week. They welcome Manchester City to Goodison, which promises to be a belter. But with City in great form lately, I think an away win is likely.
15:00 West Ham v Southampton

West Ham

50 WIN

@1.50

Lose

-50

Southampton have 10 points from 32 games played which isn't good enough for this league. West Ham are 4th from bottom which is poor for them, but being 14 points clear of 3rd from bottom Ipswich (who face Arsenal on Sunday) they have little to fear in regards to playing Championship football next season. Home win.

Rowdy Yeats followed two runner-up spots with an eye-catching win in a 7-furlong Naas maiden 26 days ago. That win suggested there is more to come from this 3-year-old Noel Meade-trained colt. C T Keane has been aboard this runner on his first two starts, running second over 5f and 7f, both in 2024. This mile is sure to suit.

@4.00

Lose

I think a draw could be on the cards at St James Park. Newcastle can go 3rd with a win, but Crystal Palace have played well picking up 13 points from their last six games. So, I'm going for a draw here.

11:00 Ross Muir v Ben Woollaston

Ross Muir

Win Match

50 WIN

@3.75

Lose

-50

Scotland's Ross Muir had a notable victory at the World Championships, beating the much higher-ranked Tom Ford 10-7 in round 3. He has an excellent chance to qualify if he beats England's Ben Woollaston in the final qualifying round. Woollaston is also cueing well, beating Mark Davis 10-9 on the final black. The Scot has the form to win and reach the Crucible.
14 April 2025
20:00 Bournemouth v Fulham

Draw

50 WIN

@3.60

Lose

-50

I'll go for a draw in this game because it ended 2 apiece when they met at Fulham's ground the last time. Bournemouth have one point from their last three games, and Fulham have 6 points from their last three. Playing at home will benefit the Cherries, but my opinion is for the draw.

22:45 US Masters

Akshay Bhatia

25 EW

@67.00

Lose

-50

Some might say Akshay Bhatia is too inexperienced to win the Masters, but he has won on two occasions and had a close finish at the Players last month. He led after two rounds but faltered in the 3rd round due to bad weather, eventually finishing tied 3rd. A much-improved golfer, I fancy he can get a top 8 this week.

Brooks Koepka

25 EW

@31.00

Lose

-50

Maybe the LIV players can show the PGA players they can be tough competitors over four instead of three-day tournaments. One golfer who'd love to make a bold showing is Brooks Koepka. He went close in 2023, but a poor final round saw Jon Rahm take the Jacket. I feel Koepka can challenge again this year.
21:45 US Masters

Bryson DeChambeau

50 WIN

@19.00

Lose

-50

Bryson De Chambeau robbed McIlroy of the US Open in 2024. I think he has a good opportunity to go close in the Masters because he led after the first day last year after opening with a 65. Tournament favorite Scottie Scheffler had better form when winning in 2024, so De Chambeau can take advantage.
12 April 2025
17:30 Arsenal v Brentford

Arsenal

50 WIN

@1.67

Lose

-50

Arsenal are on course for a second place finish if keeping up some excellent form. A 3-0 win in the Champions League over Madrid is a confidence booster. They'll be seeking a similar result against Brentford who can be tough to beat, but I fancy the Gunners to take the points.
15:00 Brighton v Leicester

Brighton

50 WIN

@1.29

Lose

-50

Leicester and Brighton drew 2-2 when the sides met at the King Power in December. Brighton have gone off the boil lately with losses to Villa and Palace. But playing at home against a struggling Leicester should see them take the points against a team who haven't earned a point in ages.
15:00 Nottm Forest v Everton

Nottm Forest

50 WIN

@2.10

Lose

-50

When these sides met at Goodison in December, Nottingham Forest came away with the three points following a 2-0 win. Everton have upped their game recently and have become draw specialists with five from their last six. Forest are in 3rd place in the Premiership, 22 points ahead of Everton. They have home advantage, which should help them get the points.
15:00 Southampton v Aston Villa

Aston Villa

50 WIN

@1.57

Win

28

Good win for Aston Villa over Nottingham Forest last week, so they should feel confident of another three points at Southampton on Saturday. The Saints had a fine draw against Crystal Palace two weeks ago and gave Tottenham a good game on Sunday, but lost 3-1. Villa are an improved team who should get the points at St Mary's.
12:30 Man City v Crystal Palace

Draw

50 WIN

@4.75

Lose

-50

I will go for a draw game as Manchester City have a lot of players on the injury list, including striker Haaland. Crystal Palace are capable of beating City, but I think a draw will be the outcome, as it was when these two met at Selhurst Park in December.
