I think the favorite is on the short side here. Halfway House Lad put in a good effort last time out, finishing 3rd to Ladronne at Wetherby in a similar contest. That winner has gone in again since, and I expect Halfway House Lad to be in the shake-up here.

Minella Blueway has only run five times over fences, and I can see scope for a lot more. Only two of the races were even put in the race, so form of 21 instead of 65271 is more accurate. I like this one to be right there in the shake-up to win here.

Gordon Elliott has kept this one below the radar of the handicapper over fences for hopefully a long plot for another big race win. Last time out, took down a 60k contest in only fourth chase is hugely impressive, and hopefully, there is more to come.

Interested in this one as it's having its first run in a handicap. It has been off the pace in its runs so far and is upped in trip today on a track which can have an emphasis on stamina. This horse has run in a couple of point-to-points, so double-digit odds on this feel worth a go.
