Storming Point is a 3-year-old trained by Gary and Josh Moore, ridden by Ryan Moore (his only ride on the card). Form is very good, finishing a nose behind Needle Match, who has since come close in group races; half a length behind Albert Einstein; and less than 2 lengths behind Zavateri. The third place from his only start (he finished 3 lengths behind Storming Point) has won since in a Class 4 at Doncaster. This race has a lot of newcomers, but it looks like it will need to be a very good one to beat this horse.

Red Charlie is a 4-year-old trained by Andy Slattery who finished 1st after a 493-day absence. He then finished 2nd by a head despite having to almost pull up in the race and had to find all his pace again. He was absolutely flying when hitting the finish line. He has only been upped 3 lbs for that last run, but I think he had plenty more in hand than that. I think he should go very close.
