4/17 on the AW. Handicapper has taken evasive action following his easy win on his second start back from a layoff lto over 8f at Newcastle (7th has won since). His full sister (same connections) improved when stepping up in trip from 8f which offers some hope there could be more to come from him over today's 9.5f. Sharper track a slight concern but at least it won't be as stiff a test as Newcastle or Southwell. At double figure odds it's worth taking a chance he can defy the 10lb rise.

Only unplaced run in ten starts was at Listed level. Consistent in ordinary Mdns and Hcps in her first season until off the mark when travelling well and making all in a poor Dundalk Mdn in November. Tried to make all again on return to action at Gowran Park over 1m (soft ground) where she kept on well once headed to finish 2/8 (6th won since) beating the remainder well enough. Well drawn in stall 2 today and with added cheekpieces the hope is she'll give it a good go to make all over a slightly shorter trip of 7.5f on better ground.
