The likely favourite allegorie de vassey isn't a horse u can trust at a short price , and the more reliable alternative is the consistent brides hill. Been well placed this season and this looks like another well placed entry. She gets her ground and I think has a good chance of turning over the over hyped mullins mare .

Ran well lto when falling when challenging the 150 rated heartwood . A rating of 137 makes he look well handicapped. Originally earmarked for the Cheltenham festival he swerved that to come here . His jumping has its issues but I'm sure Cromwell has him well schooled and ready for the big day . Nap

Consistent runner this season running well in the Lincoln at Doncaster when frontrunning into a head wind + probably needing the run .ran better next time out when 4th in a competitive handicap at Newbury over a mile. To my eye he got tired around the 7 furlongs marker( jockey used whip) and a drop back to 7 furlongs looks like a good move . Won't mind what the ground does and quite well drawn in stall 6 . Expect him to be up with the pace , the fact that he does stay a mile means its possible he could out stay them at a track that will suit his running style. Of the hold horses zouky looks to have a good chance on his 2nd to poet master at Doncaster over 7 furlongs last season. Had dark thirty back in 3rd who won lto at the track. I've backed both ew

Won a maiden hurdle beating antrim coast last year,, antrim coast was 3rd behind gorgeous Tom + Mr gif yesterday so looks well handicapped off 120. Been running in bad ground all season and today gets his ground and has dropped from a rating of 131 -120 . Looks likely to run his race on this better ground

Obviously gdc is a 2 time gold cup winner and a outstanding horse but I'm not sure he'll win today. Has had a long season and if your going to take him on today is the day . Fastorslow has a great record at punchestown and having avoided aintree after coming down early in the gold cup he's fresher thsn most . 4.6 available on the exchange looks a good value bet .

Has been a good horse to follow this season, and has already beaten the fav blizzard of oz Earlier in the season. Lto was a good 4th in the Martin pipe condition handicap hurdle at Cheltenham. Before that was a close 2nd to Waterford whispers. That's the best form on offer and should be favourite! Can I please not get beaten by mullins again! Praying .My nap of tye day

Looks to be thrown in off a mark 113. Beat Irish panther at this meeting in a bumper last year .Irish panther ran farran glory close and was 4 and a half lengths behind ballyburn in a bumper last season. Both are rated considerably higher now. Was a eye-catcher lto and has probably plotted up for this race . 3/1 looks fair

There's alot of pace in this race with 3 or 4 who like to go forward, so might set up for a closer and powerful response fits the bill. Was running well over a mile last season without getting his head in front but 1m2f looks to be his trip. Managed to get his head in front lto in a slowly ran race so the stronger pace should see him finish alot better today. Only up 1lb to a mark of 69 so slips into this class 4 at the bottom of the weights. The better ground should also suit better, thou if it rains good to soft won't bother this son of star spangled banner.
