Ran well on his first try at this trip at Salisbury, a track with an uphill finish like this. Two subsequent runs have come over two miles so the return to shorter should help and he gets cheekpieces for the first time.

Very tempting mark on the best of his form and now drops into a Class 4 contest. Cheekpieces are back on, they didn't work the first time that he tried them but that was off a 250-day break and he was subsequently gelded so he is worth another chance.

Handicapper has taken no chances with her opening mark but she showed much more at Tramore last time out when stepped up in trip. Travelled nicely at the back of the field that day but was not asked for any efforts until the leaders had flown. Needs to jump better but a longer trip on handicap debut is a big plus.

Showed very little at Curragh over the weekend but ran well over C&D prior to that and gets a tongue strap added for a first time here. The run at this track was in a deeper race than this and she got no luck in running. The bigger field won't make it any easier to get the gaps but the ability is there.

A little too keen when last seen but has been gelded since and is fitted with a hood for the first time. Handicap debut here off 63, first two home on his most recent start (he was a 5l 4th) have won off 80 and 73 since and he gave them 3lb.

Not often that his trainer would tilt at windmills so not a shock that he ran so well when pitched into the Commonwealth at Royal Ascot. Has taken a huge step forward with each start and drops back into Group 3 level here. Very few miles on the clock and would not need to improve much more to get seriously involved.

Fair record fresh and ran well in his most recent race which came from a pound above this at the Grand National meeting when the ground went against him. A right-handed speed track on good ground is perfect for him so his price looks on the large side.
