Those who finished around her on her May debut Would suggest that an opening mark of 75 is on the light side now she is back on turf. She gave the winner 9lb that day and was beaten a neck, that runner has been placed off 87 subsequently

Last five wins have all come from this mark of higher so is very well treated at present. Won off 12lb higher last October and has not been beaten far the last twice. April 2023 was the last time that he ran in a Class 3 handicap on turf off this same mark of 88 and he absolutely bolted up. The only small negative is that he has not shown his true form in two visits to Town Moor.

Yard are scuffling for form a little bit at the moment but they always need respect when they send a runner to this track. This gelding is their only runner of the day which adds to that view. Won first time up this season from a 2lb lower mark on soft ground so this surface off the back of a 90-day break should suit. This could be the right time to catch him.

Has improved with each start, a close up fifth on her handicap debut at Curragh. She kept on well over 6f that day, shaping as if the extra furlong is going to suit her. That was a considerably deeper race than this one so she should find this company more to her liking.

Awful draw but was slow to begin at the Festival meeting here so should be able to drop in easily enough if doing that again here. Soft ground that day looked to suit and he responded well to cheekpieces for the first time. Has joined a canny yard so it will be interesting to see how he moves in the market.

Produced a solid level of form for Mark Hoad but every chance of stepping up on that now that she has joined James Owen. Owen does well with newcomers to his yard and has forged an excellent working partnership with apprentice Sean D Bowen who is booked to ride.

Nice type over hurdles who was generally progressive over hurdles last season. His dam was a point winner from a chasing family so he might well appreciate going chasing as well. Placed off a higher mark over hurdles at Ascot in March.

Placed in a couple of maidens here last summer. His best runs have come when ridden forcefully so hopefully this is how they will ride him here, especially as they have added headgear into the mix which would be wasted if not making use of him.

Lots of pace for him to chase here which will hopefully get him to settle better than he has been so far this season. A winner off much higher in the past, a sharp 5f suits him fine and he has won at Epsom so a switchback track is clearly no concern.
